This is the website of the Tasmanian Department of Education. Tasmania is a small island with big ideas. The Australians have been implementing OBE for some time and have excellent ideas on co-operative learning; the development of critical thinking and making education entertaining and challenging. The "Discover" section of the website is particularly useful. Unfortunately it will be removed shortly so check it out while you can.

There is a section, within the website, where teachers write about lessons and approaches which have worked well for them. The ideas on Negotiated Study are especially good and can be adapted to ECD. You can go straight to this section via:
