This site has been developed specifically for FET college lecturers but many other teachers and trainers may find it useful. The idea for the site arose out of the need to share more widely the materials which were developed through various funded projects of the Western Cape Education Department. In particular, the Support to Education and Skills Development Programme of the Danish Development Agency (DANIDA) made it possible to develop contextualized materials to assist lecturers with ideas for outcomes-based learning and assessment activities.

Initially hard copies of these materials were distributed so headers, footers and page numbers have been retained in order to facilitate cross-referencing.

As the site develops, materials in more learning areas will be uploaded.
